The Medical Staff Services Department of Alton Memorial Hospital main purpose is to manage all medical staff activities including medical staff quality improvement programs.
This includes managing effective and efficient systems to support the medical s Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs activities related to the entities and other affiliated instruction's credential verification process for initial and reappointment applications for medical staff and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities Verifies that credentials of medical staff, mid-level, and allied health professionals are in compliance with regulatory bodies, federal, and state agencies.
Maintains accurate data in credential database and permanent credential files.
Collaborates with medical staff and leadership to ensure credentialing and processing standards are being met.
Facilitates problem solving and operating system boards while participating in sub-committees created for ongoing process improvement Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED Experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
