Youth Development - Program Assistant

Our Program Assistants work directly with our Club Members age 6 to 18.
Duties include planning daily activities, providing supervision and serving the role of mentor for Club members for a specific age group.
Successful applicants will have a passion for kids and a desire to begin or continue a career in child development.
Previous experience or education in family or child services area is a plus.
Individuals chosen for this position will start in our Boys & Girls Club training program.
This is primarily a weekday (Monday thru Friday) position.
Work shifts during our current After School Program will be within the program hours of 2pm-7pm, The part-time position will continue into our Summer Program, when the Club is open 9am-5pm.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with child care or youth development experience, college students with a children or family focused major or current teachers looking for additional opportunities to assist youth in our community.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
