Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist in providing dental care to patients, with a focus on pediatrics.
- Prepare treatment chair and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Take dental x-rays and photos as directed by the orthodontist.
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other dental professionals.
