The Legal Assistant/Secretary would be working on cases mainly involving personal injury.
A large part of the job will entail transcribing dictation, calendaring meetings, ordering medical records and tracking tasks to ensure files are moving.
In addition, the right candidate should be comfortable answering phones, talking to clients and being responsible for every aspect of a case from consultation to closing the file.
To be considered, candidates must possess excellent written and analytical skills, be proficient in Microsoft word, Microsoft outlook and have the ability to transcribe dictation.
You must be able to multi-task to be successful in this position.
Strong organizational and communication skills are a must, as well as attention to detail and taking pride in accurate work product.
The hours are Monday through Friday 8:
