Role Purpose Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the operations and functions of the Hospital related to high pressure steam plant, the mechanical/electrical infrastructure systems and equipment (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical).
Manage all operations relating to facilities management which may include plant operations, building and grounds, security, environmental services, carrier services, mail room, construction management, housekeeping, safety, occupational health, and disaster planning.

Plant Operations goal is to keep the hospital, medical office building and Eunice Smith Nursing Home infrastructure in good working order.

Manage all operations relating to facilities management which may include plant operations, building and grounds, security, environmental services, carrier services, mail room, construction management, housekeeping, safety, occupational health, and disaster planning.
Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to:
hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets.
Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Directs and coordinates the activities of facility maintenance, housekeeping, security and other related service lines as assigned.
Directs and coordinates the activities of capital projects.
Oversees and tracks the requests for maintenance projects and the status of maintenance projects throughout the facility.
Provides consultation services to administration, managers and staff in regards to facilities and maintenance related issues and projects.
